Job Overview The position will be based in Wadeville, and the incumbent will report to the Business Unit Manager: Boilershop.
Job Specification (not totally inclusive) Pick parts and schedule them to the bays; Load requirements onto SAP - service and production orders; Manage the IEPC process; Create data packs for the shop floor; Schedule work as per the available parts; Raise PP12 requisitions for non-stock items; Manage shortages; Manage Production and Service Orders; Date management as per demand (machine build schedules, customer orders, R&R and CEP); Run WIP control every second day. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 or equivalent; Minimum of 3 years' experience in the mining industry environment; A combination of educational and experiential background is important; Product knowledge as well as exposure to the underground operational environment is advantageous; Knowledge of essential Komatsu Mining Corp. systems, such as SAP, Microsoft Office, View & Print, etc; Attention to detail and an understanding of and technical appreciation of manufacturing and assembly principles; Team player - working within a team towards achieving common goals as part of a drive towards improving customer satisfaction and the Komatsu Mining Corp. business; Must be self-driven and disciplined; Be able to work without supervision when required; Strong customer service orientation; Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
