We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Scheduler - Frozen to join our Planning Team.
Reporting to the Supply Planner, the Production Scheduler is responsible for the preparation of the production schedule within the short-term tactical horizon (13 week rolling) across their production lines of responsibility.

The role monitors delivery of the weekly production schedule ensuring on time delivery and QA release of product at the NDC.
The Production Scheduler will need to balance supply to ensure optimal profit and operational efficiency working with the Demand Controller to meet the needs of our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:
Review and reconcile Schedule Adherence, STO Deliveries and Quality releases for the previous day and address exceptions Review projected inventory for the current and following week and address potential Out of Stocks through Red Zone schedule changes and planned receipt changes at the NDC Manage supply within the scheduling horizon and collaborate with Category Demand Controller to balance short term supply and demand based on SAP reporting/transactions Convert Purchase Requisitions to Stock Transport Orders Collaborate with Demand Controller to ensure escalation management is undertaken with decisions executed Review FCN's to understand if the forecast changes can be met and communicate outcome with the Category Demand Controller Review inventory projections, amend production schedule where required and communicate potential shortfalls and excess stock to the Category Demand Controller Liaise with materials planners to identify material supply issues, assess impact on production schedules and initiate Red Zone changes as required Distribute draft production schedules for the next two weeks Work with production Team Leaders to optimise and align on the next two week's production schedules ready for sign off at the Weekly Supply Review Balance the 3-13 week horizon to demand and capacity and bring any exceptions to SOE for escalation Publish next weeks signed off production schedules (baseline schedule) You will have:
A detailed working knowledge of manufacturing processes as they relate to replenishment of finished goods.
A detailed working knowledge of effective Production Scheduling and Capacity Planning techniques A working knowledge of key business ERP systems preferably including SAP and BI reporting tools Concise and well-structured communication and presentation skills enabling clear decision making Intermediate competency in Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to analyse and summarise complex information to key stakeholders in a timely manner including problem solving and developing insights and recommendations A good time manager, able to meet deadlines with quality output and flexibility to handle a range of tasks with changing priorities.
