Production Planner/Scheduler

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing our production processes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of agricultural products.
This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of agricultural production cycles.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
Coordinate with various departments (e.g., procurement, logistics, quality control) to ensure seamless production operations.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast future production needs based on market trends and sales data.
Implement and manage production planning software and tools.
Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with the farm management team to plan crop rotations, planting schedules, and harvest timelines.
Prepare and present production reports to senior management.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in production planning, preferably in the agriculture industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of agricultural production processes and cycles is a plus.
