The Role Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Production Planner is responsible for providing strategic analysis both at production sites and channel.
Provide support as required to the Supply Chain Manager in supply chain tasks.
Building strong collaborative relationships with other BOC groups specifically Operations, G&G managers, Sales, Marketing, Elgas.
What's involved in the role: Own and Develop Production Plans for the site that are efficient and sustain high service levelsInventory Management strategies and analysis both at production sites and channelConduct and support to cylinder cycle count strategies and implementation throughout the regionConduct and support the month end bulk stock take and supporting analysisReport, identify and communicate risks to product supply proactively in advance of potential deferralsProvide technical support to resolve Virtual Transactions and other system-based queries or issues both at operations sites and ChannelWhat we like about you: 5 years minimum experience in Inventory or Asset ManagementExperience in production planning and schedulingProven commercial/business acumenInfluencing skills, coaching skills.Microsoft office suite of programsWhy you will love working with us At BOC we respect a work/life balance, and that's why we have introduced initiatives such as generous parental leave and attractive superannuation benefits.
