Production Operator

The Opportunity We are seeking a 2 x Production Operators to join the team in Frenchs Forest on a fixed-term basis, starting Monday, 2nd December and continuing through to end-January 2025.
Please note the position includes a Christmas shutdown from 24th December to 1st January.
However, for those available, there may be additional work required on 27th, 30th, and 31st December due to the project's tight timeline.
This role is integral to the production of high-quality cable assemblies and reports directly to the Production Supervisor.
The hours are 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and onsite parking is available.
Key Responsibilities • Assemble cable products according to detailed instructions.
• Support additional assembly tasks as required.
• Work with both manual and electronic job documentation, including bills of materials, routers, and work orders.
• Operate in a production line environment (both flow line and individual production).
• Read and interpret wire schedules, drawings, and schematics.
About You To thrive in this role, you will ideally have experience in a production environment and skills in: • Using crimping tools, cable stripping tools, and computerised cable cutting machines.
• Soldering and assembling RF cable assemblies (advantageous but not essential).
• Reading and understanding wire schedules, drawings, and schematics (training available if needed).
