Production Operator - Charters Towers

JOHNEX explosives offers a full range of commercial explosives and accessories for the Australian mining industry.
Our Charters Towers, QLD based operation is seeking Production Operators to join the team.
Currently operating a 4:3 roster with the opportunity for ongoing training and advancement.
Key Responsibilities: Preparation & packaging of explosives including batching, bung & tube assembly, coiling, packaging, tower operations & distribution, raw material and magazine stock controlMaintenance of plant & equipmentOngoing training to enhance knowledge and skillsStock take after each product movement and monitoring of inwards goods deliveriesConduct general maintenance and cleaning of JOHNEX explosives equipment, vehicles, forkliftsManual lifting & cleaningYou will need: Ability to pass a fitness assessment, drug and alcohol screeningOwn reliable transport to and from siteFlexibility in approach to hours of work to meet operational deadlinesWillingness and adaptability to perform a range of dutiesValid forklift high risk ticket (preferred but not essential)Maintenance experience would be highly valuedSuccessful applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical and provide a current police clearance (no less than 6 months old).
