Production Operator /Can Maker

The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our Can Making Plant in Revesby, New South Wales, which will soon be going under an ~$85 million capacity expansion. Reporting into the Shift Supervisor, the Can Makers would work on a 12hr rotating shift (6am- 6pm & 6pm-6am). Key Responsibilities Work well autonomously but also within a team and achieve safety, quality, and efficiency target We expect the incumbent to be physically fit, and can communicate well, keeping everyone in the loop and where required ensuring documentation is maintained. Be committed to adhere and practice safe working practices and work unsupervised. Has been exposed to an environment where there is a focus on quality & continuous improvement. And have sound problem solving and mechanical reasoning ability Running and maintaining our concord decorators, to our onsite targets About You Have recent experience as a Machine Operator in a high-speed manufacturing environment, preferably in fast moving consumer goods. Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Availability to work across 24hr rotating shift patterns. Be passionate about safety and keeping everyone safe by following safe work practices and safety procedures. Have an eye for detail and be customer focused. Willingness to learn and grow in the organisation. Be able to set up equipment and optimise the production output, once fully trained. Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing.
