Permanent position available for a Leading Hand Carpenter - upcoming project located in Shellharbour Your new company Family run business who are seeking a Leading Hand Carpenter to join their team. Specialising in niche commercial works such as; fit out / interiors, industrial maintenance, medical construction and remedial works. Recent projects include; MRI suite in Newcastle Hospital, café fit outs and refurbishments and a large concrete cancer remedial project. Your new role As a Leading Hand Carpenter you will be responsible for; • Day to day running of the site • Delivery of quality projects on time and budget • WHS requirements and site safety • Quality Control • Materials management • Supervision of subcontractors & Labour What you'll need to succeed • Trade qualified carpenter • Driving license and white card • Ability to understand and read plans • Computer literacy/Email/Excel/App Based Systems – Dashpivot • Experience leading a small team • Able to commit to weekend works, overtime; 50 plus hours per week What you'll get in return • Great salary ($90,000 - $110,000 super overtime) • Long term employment with career progression • Mentorship, trainings and skill development provided • Upcoming project based in Shellharbour What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to orla.mccambridgehays.com.au or call us now on 0490438724.
