Visit Us At: cclsecure.com About the Role We are seeking an experienced Production Manager reporting directly to the General Manager of the APAC Region. You will have full operational responsibility for the site manufacturing areas, including production of tooling, manufacturing conversion of the product as well as other ancillary department management.
What you will be doing Ensure our workers' health and safety is the number one priority, and that effective systems and processes are in place to enable the safe operation of the plant.Ensure the plant operates in accordance with all operational targets in line with the SPQDC dashboard.Through improvement methodologies control and improve quality performance.Drive performance levels of teams, nurturing development of team members, focusing on improvement opportunities across shifts in a 24/5 environment.Drive production standards in terms of 5s, short interval control and SMED to optimize plant effectiveness.Champion the operational layered audit process and drive respective shift team performance and accountability.Development and performance management of direct reports ensuring clarity on key operational targets.Manage IR issues within manufacturing areas according to company and regulatory requirements.Analyse production data to report on operational performance and provide reports as required.Skills needed You will have extensive experience in supervising and managing teams within a production/manufacturing environment.Strong leadership with the ability to influence and effect change within an organisation.Experience in managing budgets and financial reporting.Thorough understanding and experience with LEAN manufacturing processes.Team player and leader with first line management team.Reporting to the General Manager APAC and based in our Melbourne facility you will be provided with support and guidance needed to understand this unique business and the world-leading products that we produce.
