The Production Lead is responsible for coordinating, managing and monitoring production.
They will manage, review and lead team performance and productivity with a focus on execution, profitability, safety and quality.

Duties & Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Creating and implementing a plan to improve DIFOTIS, Cycle time, Labour Utilisation and Material YieldReviewing the production plan to ensure revenue forecast and customer requirements are met in a timely mannerIdentifying and managing risks and ensuring all product and inventory systems and processes run efficiently and effectively to minimise wasteEnsuring daily and weekly production meetings are in place to ensure that all Employees are aware of expectations and performance objectivesAllocating resources effectively and fully utilising assets to produce optimal resultsWorking with the Continuous Improvement Lead and Production Manager to ensure maximum efficiencies, and implement Continuous Improvement ProjectsWhat do you need to be successful in this role? Experience leading a team of direct reports in an FMCG environmentAbility to plan and organise own workloadAbility to forward think and anticipate issues before they occurInterpersonal skills that are first class and an ability to work effectively across all groups of people in an organisationAbility to coach, mentor and develop othersExperience in managing individual and team performance as well as running discipline processes and managing employment relations risksStrong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelTrustworthyAbility to work with complexity and ambiguityKnowledge in development, operation, integration, and continuous improvementHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyUnderstanding and appreciation for supply chain and logistics challengesExperience in LEAN and 5S is preferred, but not essential.Culture Match Our culture and values centre around five pillars of Safety first, Teamwork, Customer focus, Innovation, and Caring.
