The Builder Currently building over 200 homes a year, you will be working on a busy workbook alongside a team of friendly and experienced Estimators.
The Role Reporting to an awesome Estimating Manager who thoroughly enjoys continually developing their team and watching them succeed, your day-to-day will generally entail the below (but not limited to):
Carry out full production estimates for, plus preparation of sales estimates for new housing projects. Responsible for every aspect of the home's estimation, including requesting quotes, liaising with suppliers, preparing material take-offs, and raising purchase orders. You will bring superb time management skills that will ensure you can manage the high levels of workflow. This role is a Monday - Friday role working full time.
What you need Minimum of 4 years' experience as an Estimator within the residential building industry (local experience is preferred). Experience with one-off, architecturally designed homes. A strong focus on attention to detail and sound construction knowledge. Team-oriented - enjoy working with a team and getting amongst the banter that comes with that! Have a flexible approach to work as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Databuild experience is essential.
