In this role, you will have the ability to make decisions, work to meet deadlines, and possess exceptional communication skills.
This role will be residentially based in Mt Isa and will consist of an even time roster on a 7/7 continuous configuration (12hr shifts).
The successful candidate will be responsible for: Performing a range of drilling duties associated with underground drilling Being accountable for your own personal safety and others Participating in shift change-over and passing on relevant safety & production critical information Effectively managing own time to maximize productivity and minimize wastage Ensuring personal behaviour reflects company values, targeting a constructive culture Ensuring full participation in the target setting program Maintaining and improving OH&S and overall operational standards in the workplace Coaching and supporting production workers to improve their process knowledge and skills The successful candidate will possess: Minimum 5 years underground drilling experience (Other relevant experience will be considered) Production drill rig maintenance will be regarded highly Experience with mine service work (service reticulation, ventilation) Basic equipment tickets (IT, Loader, Forklifts etc.)
