Position Purpose  * The role of the Product Design Operational Support sits within the Data Governance team whom are part of the Business Change Management (BCM) division of BNP Paribas.
The Product Design Operational Support primary objective is providing the business with data analytics and solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.
* The Product Design Operational Support will report directly to the Head of Data Governance and work within a matrix structure, delivering into projects that are managed across all platforms.
They communicate with internal and external stakeholders including business stakeholders in operations, product and coverage, Paris and London branches for global projects, standards, vendors and consultants.
Key Responsibilities  Business Services support - Project Stuart Mission (2025)  As a Product Design Operational Support for the Stuart Project you will have the following objectives: -  * Ensuring we are designing and building the User Cases in order for them to caters for operational needs and TOM guiding principles & design (robustness, scalability, industrialization…etc.)
* Ensuring all concerned operational teams sign off the BRDs and the requirements (set-up and run of the appropriate governance)  * Ensuring formalization of the user acceptance test cases (i.e.
formalizing them)  * Ensuring BRDs are well understood by the testing teams in India  * Providing your inputs and support in formalizing the TOM design  You will work in close cooperation with the design teams in Paris, Singapore and Australia as well as the operational teams in France, India and Australia.
There will be 3 Product Design Operational Supports today (1 in AU, 1 in UK, 1 in Chennai) and you will co-ordinate with the other two under the leadership of the design support based in Europe.
During the Stuart project, you will report into the project governance under the operational readiness stream  * Data Solution Design  * Gain a firm understanding of the impacts of the solution on People, Process and Technology.
* Engage stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of (and commitment to) all aspects of the project including objectives, scope, risks, benefits and any element they may be providing Gather all the necessary inputs and review to fully understand the requirements, specifications, applicable standards etc.
* Document the current (as-is) business process design if this does not already exist  * Document the to-be business process design and identify how the implementation of the data solution will benefit the business  * Data Quality and Integrity  * Liaise with the business to identify data inconsistencies and provide the capability to identify these items in advance  * Lead and/or undertake data quality activities and initiatives where required.
Ensure appropriate tools and techniques are used for data analysis tasks and deliverables.
* Encourage peer reviews and feedback sessions within the community.
* Personally review a selection of the deliverables generated by the community.
* Engage and contribute to a Data and Business analysis community of practice, which includes:  * Establishing regular community meetings with all business/data analysts to provide group mentoring, discuss concerns and issues, and implement actions for continuous improvement.
* Perform reviews of deliverables produced by the community's business analysts and provide feedback and constructive critiques.
* Formalise standards and consistency around business analysis deliverables and encourage the community's adherence to these standards.
Competencies (Technical / Behavioural)  * Technical  * 3+ years analysis experience  * Experience in an Information Technology & Change capacity in the Financial Services Industry  * 3+ years of Alteryx Designer/Gallery or Power BI experience is essential  * Experience in data management and data consolidation, masterization, transformation & relevant quality controls operations  * Experience in custody or back-office administration for the funds management industry  * Familiarity with analytical capabilities such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx  * Excellent working knowledge of relational databases, be able to confidently write SQL  * Experience in dealing with large data sets and relational databases  * Strong analytical ability to analyse, summarise and explain large data sets through verbal, written and visual forms.
* Identifying efficiency opportunities, writing business cases and creating POC's that will add business value through the implementation of Alteryx  * Assist in developing the governance and framework to ensure operational readiness of new business technologies  * Excellent analytical skills, able to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, work well in a demanding and dynamic environment to meet overall objectives.
* Project management skills; experience with Agile, scheduling and resource management.
* Ability to motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals.
* Good communication skills (written and oral)  * Good coordination skills (to gather consensus)  * Behavioral  * Proven Organizational & Federation skills: Capacity to set-up and run appropriate governance to ensure validation and sign-off of business requirement by all concerned stakeholders  * Accountable: Want someone who is accountable for their actions.
