About the role:
We have an exciting full-time role available for a Production Coordinator to join our Stylerunner team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for managing production from sample stage through to bulk smoothly and to the critical timeline. Implement production processes for start-up brand, including Quality Control, timelines, Purchase orders, and any other systems/processes to ensure a smooth production cycle.
Your key responsibilities will include:
PRODUCTION Ensure all new fabric selections made by design meet Style Runner standards - Maintain fabric description sheets and file test reports. Chase and manage tracking of fit samples according to critical path. Raising and amending POs and issuing to factories. Issuing and checking barcodes. Track surcharges or pre-payments. Maintain the Production and Development tracker (sampling & trims development) as per critical path. Assisting Garment Techs to check shipment samples against approved PPs and provide comments. Ensure suppliers understand all ship sample comments. Escalate issues to Production Manager to follow up on appropriate penalty/compensation. Monitor overage/shortage tolerance shipped quantity with buying manager. Check final invoices, packing lists against PO, update internal system. Working closely with accounts payable. Chasing commercial documentation for shipments. Ensuring factories have adhered to expected deliveries and bookings. Track shipment inbound schedule from ETD, ETA & arrival - Communicate delivery to Production Manager. Tracking bulk fabric and trim submissions. Buy Sheet creation. Chase and manage incoming pre-shipment samples & handover to marketing team to shoot. QA & COMPLIANCE Production Manager to own - Production Coordinator to assist. Manage compliance of suppliers and, with the Production and Garment tech Manager, hold suppliers accountable. Monitor and maintain quality control standards throughout the production process. Manage inspections through internal QC teams and third-party providers. Undertake Spot check inspection in stores and send QC reports to factories. To be successful you will ideally have:
1-3 years experience in a similar role. Garment QC processes knowledge. Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and fit. Management of critical timelines and ensuring wider team is adhering to the schedule. Purchase order raising for sample and bulk orders. Experience in AP21 is a bonus.
