About the roleWe are looking for a Production Assistant Supervisor (morning shift) with proven success in providing direction and ensuring the efficient functioning of areas including people management, production, safety, quality, and compliance.
The primary purpose of the Production Assistant Supervisor is to assist the Production Supervisor in managing the daily factory operations.
They are involved in directing and controlling production capacity, planning, labour management, and productivity to achieve a high degree of efficiencies, cost-effectiveness, and safe practices.
Tasks & ResponsibilitiesOptimise Plant Performance: Plan and balance production output and labour to ensure optimal performance relative to capacities and resources.Customer Service Management: Oversee the achievement of the production plan to meet customer demands effectively.People Management: Lead and motivate a diverse team by fostering a hands-on approach to their development.Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company safety protocols.Documentation and Control: Accurately record all production data in compliance with company policies.Food Safety and Quality Assurance: Maintain high housekeeping standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.About YouProven experience in production management or similar rolesStrong leadership and team-building skillsKnowledge of safety, food quality, and regulatory standardsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesAvailable to work morning shift 5am-1pm but is flexible to occasionally cover the afternoon shift 1pm-9pm.What We Offer:Competitive compensation packageOpportunities for career advancement and professional developmentA welcoming and supportive team environmentRight to WorkThe above position is open only to applicants who have a current right to work in Australia.
