About the Opportunity The Production Assistant assists in the delivery of exceptional customer and audience experiences by providing professional customer service and venue support for programs and events managed by State Library Victoria.
The Production Assistant's duties include customer-facing support for and during the delivery of library programs, as well as venue set-up and tear down, wayfinding, registrations, and assisting in general event delivery. The Production Assistant's duties include manual handling of furniture and equipment during the set-up of different productions, as required.
The Production Assistant is accountable for the following measurable outcomes:
Provision of responsive and tailored customer service during programs and events, to contribute to exceptional customer and audience experiences.Contribution to the delivery of programs by actively supporting and facilitating the execution of delivery as needed, including timely set up and pack up of venue.Assist in the wider Audience Engagement team to foster a positive experience and customer satisfaction, thus enabling future audience engagement.About You The successful candidate possesses knowledge of venue and event preparation and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service. In addition, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in providing technical, production, or venue support, preferably in an arts, museum, or library setting.Demonstrated experience providing front-line customer service to members of the wider community.A solid track record providing exceptional customer service to a wide range of clients, including communicating with and assisting people from diverse backgrounds.Experience utilising administrative tools and software, such as the Microsoft Suite is desirable.State Library Victoria is a child-safe organisation.
