About the role As a Product Support Technician you will be dedicated to delivering quality outcomes in applying our instrumented technologies to key mining clients serviced from Central Queensland. The role incorporates on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, onsite and remote technical support for our products with a focus on the CR mining technology optimisation products. Mining technologies are a rapidly growing space in the global market.
This role offers excellent career development opportunity for anyone who has technical experience, as mentioned above and is a very effective organiser and communicator. Full training on our products is provided. The role will be backed by a dedicated, office based, remote support team to provide expert technical knowledge for rapid issue resolution.
Key responsibilities of this position include: Providing on-site installation and system commissioning for CR technology solutions, on mobile mining equipment, ensuring engineering requirements are met Compliance with all internal and customer safety policies and procedures Plan and conduct maintenance activities in a safe and effective manner. This includes troubleshooting, system inspections, performance testing, component replacement and clear communication of outcomes Maintaining accurate records of work scheduled and completed Presenting summary reports prepared by CR remote support team to production and maintenance staff Providing training to site technical staff and operator on the use and function of systems Collaborate with other CR teams to deliver a united experience for the customer.
