The Opportunity: As a Product Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in our product development journey, contributing insights and expertise to design and launch high-performance products that meet and exceed industry standards.
You'll collaborate with our Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Technical Advisory teams, supporting their success through in-depth product knowledge and strategic direction.
Your role will not only enhance product effectiveness but will also foster strong relationships with architects, builders, and applicators, ensuring our solutions meet the evolving demands of the waterproofing market.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Execution: Shape product strategies and roadmaps to align with company objectives.
Support sales and product plans, guiding the long-term success and sustainability of our product lines.Financial Insights: Partner with the Head of R&D to track product ROI and identify trends that drive revenue growth and business value.Sales and Customer Engagement: Build strong, consultative relationships with industry stakeholders, guiding product specification and creating impactful proposal presentations.
Support the Sales team in addressing challenges with tailored waterproofing solutions.Product Innovation: Lead product development with a focus on market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.
Identify opportunities for improvement and bring innovative, solution-driven ideas to life.Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to enhance team knowledge and ensure product excellence.
Act as a mentor and technical advisor, supporting internal teams and external customers alike.Technical Leadership: Represent our company values in front of clients, supporting product functionality and technical advisory services.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our waterproofing solutions, ensuring customers make informed choices.Quality Assurance and Compliance: Collaborate with QA and Safety teams to maintain product standards, manage compliance documentation, and oversee safety practices on job sites.Skills and Experience Needed: Minimum of 5 years in sales or product management within the construction industry, with a focus on waterproofing or protective coatings.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.Proven technical expertise in waterproofing solutions, with strong communication skills and a strategic, customer-focused mindset.Solid pipeline of tier 1 – 3 builders, architects and applicators to bring to the table.Results-oriented, proactive, and passionate about continuous improvement and product innovation.What's In It for You?
