Job Profile - Product Specialist, InsolvencyFulfil the role of Product Specialist to service our Insolvency software division in Australia.
Product management involves speaking with clients about product features, compiling and logging development items, liaising with development on the viability of enhancements.
You will need to follow development items through to release and review to ensure that client requirements have been met and communicated.
There is a product testing component to review development work and provide feedback.
Your contributionProduct demonstrationsWorking in coordination with sales staff, attend pre-sales demonstrations, provide product demos and share domain knowledge about the operation of the software.Product EngagementProduct engagement involves speaking with clients about product features, compiling and logging development items, liaising with development on the viability of enhancements.You will need to follow development items through to release and review to ensure that client requirements have been met and communicated.There is a product testing component to review development work and provide feedback.Client interactionsPlay a key, hands-on role communicating with clients and understanding their future requirements.Be involved with the creation of blog content and newsletters on product releases and features.Pre-installation auditsFor new client installs understand the client environment and provide minimum software requirements.Release notes and knowledgebaseWhen releasing the software assist with writing up product release notes and knowledgebase articles to assist users.Product TrainingProvide product training in a workshop environment or remotely. Typically training will be conducted in small groups.Ongoing review and updating of training manuals and author new training materials.Focus groups and workshopsAssist to gather content and hold focus groups and workshops either remotely or at a venue.
