The Consumer Financial Crime team supports the consumer business in managing their financial crime risk while enabling change to uplift the division's control environment and maintain compliance with financial crime obligations. They provide specialist knowledge to the business in identifying and managing financial crime risk. This role works within the first-line financial crime advisory team in the Consumer Banking Division and is a bridge between FC Advisory and various transformation teams, managing the Financial Crime value delivered by the team and ensuring that it aligns with the overall Consumer FC roadmap. As a Product Owner, this role is accountable for getting the teams to develop the right thing, while the teams are accountable for developing it the right way.
It is an expectation of this role to support a strong risk culture that embodies our ethics and integrity, balancing regulatory obligation and customer experience.
You will also: Support Executive Manager/ Senior Manager to facilitate requirements, endorsement and SME support to the transformation teamsWork closely with the various transformation teams to provide financial crime SME adviceClose engagement with Consumer FC project teams participating in their day-to-day cadence e.g. stand ups, PI planning, retros & reviews, etcEscalate project risks, requirement/ technology gaps as required, helping to navigate to an effective outcome within the division's financial crime risk appetiteResponsible for supporting prioritization and review of Consumer FC backlogWorking closely with all advisory team members to translate BAU gaps/ issues into program of workReviewing any policy changes to identify impacts to the ongoing and pipeline projects What's in it for me?

What do I need? Experience Extensive experience in the financial services industryDemonstrated experience working in a large and complex organisation and working with senior stakeholders and understanding their viewpointsExperience in financial crime (AML/ CTF/ KYC) / FATCA/ CRSExperience working as a Product Owner and in transformation project environment would be preferredManaging multiple and competing stakeholder interestsAnalysis and Problem SolvingStakeholder management Education
• Business and/or technology tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience (required)

o Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
