In the Crew, we create new and enhance the existing suite of core home loans products and features; design new innovative and digitised pricing solutions that create exceptional pricing experiences for our customers and distribution partners whilst delivering best in class home loan pricing strategies and sustainable returns.
We will deliver a step change in the data, analytics and modelling used in Home Buying credit and pricing decisions to deliver improved business outcomes and exceptional customer experience.

As a Product Owner (at the Senior Manager level), you will lead the Simple Package Experience squad that is cross-functional, and be accountable for delivering new and enhanced feature initiatives for the Home Buying Wealth Package to achieve an outstanding customer experience, balancing commercial outcomes and managing risk within regulatory requirements and organisational risk appetite.
Helping to drive our customer obsession, as the Product Owner (at the Senior Manager level), you will be strategically meeting customer product needs, optimising processes for our distribution partners and improving customer experience.
You will continuously iterate and enhance solutions to create better outcomes and value for customers and stakeholders.
You will move forward with less-than-perfect information, and quickly pivot to changing work demands, and possess the ability to accurately evaluate complex and ambiguous situations to reach timely, objective and informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities Developing and designing features for the Wealth Package to address identified needs or opportunities to deliver on Home Buying's NPS agendaBuild and prioritise the Squad backlog in collaboration with key stakeholdersLead delivery of complex initiatives in an environment that leverages full-cycle engineering as part of delivering technology solutionsDrive continuous improvement within the squad to improve observability, automation and reduce lead time to change through DevSecOps opportunitiesLead and engage a diverse squad of Product Managers, Managers, Engineers and Testers, creating a psychologically safe, inclusive, accountable and high-performance cultureIdentify and manage risks, dependencies and issues for the squad in line with excellent management of operational risk and compliance outcomesStay abreast of external market trends (from regulatory, competitors, economics to innovation).Plan and lead product and/or regulatory change for new or enhanced product features, including internal and external communication and training, and relationship building activities, in conjunction with relevant stakeholders and partners.Build and foster strong relationships across the product value chain, including frontline teams, digital, compliance, technology.We're interested in hearing from people who have: Experience working with Software Delivery frameworks and engineering (desirable)Experience in retail banking and home loans (desirable)Experience in delivering complex initiatives that drive customer and business valueTranslation of product vision to roadmap and backlog from business and technology lensCommercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skillsAdvanced communication and influencing skillsProblem-solving capabilityRisk Mindset: All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks #J-18808-Ljbffr
