Product Owner, Servicenow Event Management Division: Technology

As the Product Owner of Event Management, you will leverage your depth of Servicenow knowledge and experience to transform the function from being platform orientated to capability orientated, including integration and cross over with other ITSM capabilities including Monitoring and Observability. You will be able to continuously refine the blueprint of Event Management at ANZ and manage the delivery and work of the Event Management Squad.
As a Product Owner, you will constantly prioritise tasks and the squad's backlog with the customer at the heart of their decision making. You will also ensure that the work is strategically aligned to the tribe mission and engage with other Product Owners to align and manage interdependencies. This role includes people management and is a key leadership role, galvanising the squad around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver customer value at pace.

What will you bring? To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Stakeholder Management at all levels within the organisation Deep expertise and prior experience in managing a large implementation of Servicenow ITOM module, specifically Event Management and Alert processing Strong conceptual understanding and appreciation of the relationship between Event Management and Observability Knowledge of ServiceNow automation and associated tooling Good understanding of Data driven insights with ML and AI Ability to participate in technology architecture decision making Successfully led projects or a large BAU change agenda Developed and executed breakthrough domain strategies that deliver the business strategy Successfully built a network of strong relationships and influencing key stakeholders ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Servicenow Certified Eventing Implementation Specialist Related Servicenow Alerting, Event, ITOM certifications ITSM Platform and Service Improvement leader You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
