Exciting opportunity for a Product Owner to join a leading Australian company in the eHealth industry.This is a permanent full-time position.For this position, our preference is for a candidate sitting in Melbourne but we are open to Sydney-based candidates as well.
[Hybrid model - 2/3 days in office per week]Must be Australian Citizen to apply as you will be working on high profile Government projects with a high performing team!Reporting into the Product Manager, this position is responsible for defining user stories and prioritising the product backlog to streamline the execution of product priorities (such as defect remediation and/or enhancements).
Strong communication and internal AND external stakeholder management skills are a MUST.What you will be doing: End to end resolution of escalations originating from Product Support channelsOwn and maintain robust product backlog based on allocated product roadmap itemsEnhance and elaborate User Stories for implementation and ensure alignment with Product roadmap and backlogReview and prioritise the team backlog as part of prep for iteration planning, including coordinating dependencies with other PO'sCollaborate with both external (customer) stakeholders and internal stakeholders to ensure story acceptance supports agreed business valuesParticipate in program backlog refinement and preparation for sprint planning events, contribution to the program vision, roadmap and drafting team specific objectives for upcoming sprintsProduct roadmap planning including feature discovery as requiredParticipate in system demos and inspect and adapt events at product levelDefine and implement improvement stories working with the teams from the discovery workshopMust haves:Demonstrable experience as a Product Owner within an agile methodologyExperience with SAFe methodology is highly desirableRelevant Tertiary qualifications / IT related professional qualifications and / or proven IT people and technical leadership capability.Self-starter with ability to identify, prioritise and lead features in line with strategic themesAble to breakdown complex problems into simple solutions focused on important customer needsExperience with Lean and User-Centred Design methodologiesExcellent communication skills (oral and written) with ability to express complex ideas clearlyWell-developed interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to navigate cross-functional team dynamics, diffuse tension, and achieve results through collaboration and teamworkAbility to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a highly complex environmentA proactive and adaptable approach to changeWhy join?Central Melbourne location - close to public transport - hybrid modelExciting project work in the Health Space - positively change the lives of your fellow Australians through your Product OwnershipPreviously placed candidates into this organisation, by our organisation, have provided positive feedback regarding work balance, project work and cultureCompetitive salary packaging and bonusPlease apply or get in touch with to learn more.
