Job DescriptionCurrently, the Product Management team is in need of a talented Product Owner to support our industry-leading global telecoms network automation platform.
The candidate must be a thought leader capable of understanding complex systems, characterizing business needs and end-user requirements, and guiding the development team to deliver compelling features that meet these needs.
They will be a product evangelist and expert capable of collaborating with our strategic customers and internal stakeholders.

Ability to thrive in an Agile and fast-paced delivery environment.Passionate about our customers, showing deep empathy for them and obsessively identifying and capturing their business needs as user stories.Value simplicity and be able to find the fastest path to deliver maximum value to our customers.Work with other Product Owners as part of the planning team to prioritize a backlog based on value to customers, product vision, and the strategic needs of PCCW Global.Collaborate within cross-functional teams, including user experience, development, quality assurance, and operations experts, to define and deliver solutions that create extremely high levels of customer satisfaction.Effectively manage customer expectations and balance requests against goals.Demonstrate technical aptitude to ensure effective communication with all team members.Be the main source for user story detail and priorities, validating that the stories meet acceptance criteria and completeness.Act as the key stakeholder in story definition, assisting the team with clarification, estimates, story sequencing, and team objectives for program increments.Be a Subject Matter Expert while working with the agile team throughout the product development, testing, and implementation phases to ensure feature integrity and quality.Develop and maintain strong and productive relationships with all development and business stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery of software features and defect resolution.Monitor ongoing performance of features during Acceptance Testing and Pilot, acting as the point of contact for any questions, concerns, or suggestions.Support internal teams with specific questions, training, and guidance during product deployment and ongoing training.Prepare and participate in project release planning.Play a crucial part in the team retrospective, helping drive improvements across the team.Manage communications and relationships with diverse stakeholders.Drive and develop the team demo.Negotiate with the Scrum Master on the sprint plan to balance desired delivery with the team's recommendations for successful delivery.Ensure project and/or product documentation is created and updated as needed.Engage shared services and other teams, as necessary.Willingness to travel up to 15% on an international basis.Qualifications2+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements definition, and deployment of business requirements to information systems.Critical Skills2+ years' experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, workflow diagrams, functional specifications, business requirements, business cases, or product designs.Keen ability to work directly with customers, on an ongoing basis, eliciting feedback on new features, providing timely responses to questions, and presenting demonstrations of completed functionality.Confidence, maturity, and finesse to build organizational consensus and lead through influence.Excellent communication and presentation skills to represent and describe product offerings to internal stakeholders, customers, and partners.Entrepreneurial and results-oriented.Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with a proven record of data-driven decisions.Self-motivated and willing to be a change agent facilitating improvements across the department and organization.Additional Knowledge & SkillsProduct Owner Certification is a plus (SAFe PMPO, CSPO).Exposure to Product Management, Technical Product Management, or Project Management is a plus.Experience within a telecom environment utilizing workflow, systems, network, and processes is a plus.Career drive with a desire to expand reach into other areas of a product/services organization.Demonstrated self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong ability to work in a cross-functional environment.Collaborative, customer-focused, and able to create visible value.Education4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
