The role
As a Product Owner at Praemium, you will play a crucial role in maximizing the value addition of our products, features, and solutions. You will communicate the product vision, prioritize and manage the backlog of work, and act as the primary liaison between your teams and the rest of the business. Collaborating with stakeholders including product management, customers, business leaders, operations, customer success, and platform enabling teams, you will define the product roadmap and identify requirements for the development team. You will also manage and coach a team of Business Analysts.
Main Activities of This Position: Solve customer problems and identify opportunities for business value enhancement. Lead stakeholder engagement to understand business goals, metrics, and strategy. Prioritize and evaluate work generated by the development team. Respond to system support priorities to ensure system availability and reliability. Define and maintain an outcome-oriented product and feature roadmap. Act as the voice of the customer to Technology, advocating for user needs. Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand product objectives. Communicate product updates, milestones, and release plans to stakeholders. Engage directly with customers to gather insights into their needs and pain points. Support and upskill the team, facilitating their professional growth and development. Essential Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies: Certification in Agile/Scrum (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus. 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Owner within financial services. Demonstrable experience in successfully managing teams. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience working in Agile development teams. Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving. Highly competent in building successful professional relationships and effectively managing stakeholders. Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
