A Product Manager plays a critical role in representing the business requirements in an agile development environment. They own and manage a portfolio of products & features, together with responsibility for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the Product Manager team.
Responsibilities Identify and document client needs and pain points. Manage the product lifecycle – i.e. research, design, launch, growth, maintenance, exit. Develop an in-depth understanding and become the SME for the areas which fall within the remit of this role. Assess and recommend prioritisation of developments. Help support the maintenance and progress of the Product Roadmap – taking into consideration the introduction of new features, enhancement of existing features, market moves, potential tech disruptions, and revenue & cost impacts – all to maximise the value to the business of executing the Product Roadmap. Understand the commercial aspects of the product/feature – be able to answer the question – "should we build or keep it and why?" Maintain the Product Roadmap – including setting & communicating the prioritisation of developments. Must-Have Skills & Criteria Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, architecture, engineering, delivery, sales, implementation, and support teams, on the design, implementation, delivery, and adoption of new capabilities. Manage multiple concurrent projects and proactively reprioritize to meet business and product priorities. Analytical skills to build and justify business cases/developments. Ability to understand and explain technical products to our clients. What is it like to work at Paydock?
