The Digital Experiences Tribe is looking for a commercial and customer-focused digital Product Manager who will be responsible for our Sponsored Search service across both web and mobile channels.Our Sponsored Search product has built its outstanding success on understanding our customers' need for relevant search results and supplementing this with highly relevant products and offers.The successful candidate will understand the commercial opportunity that exists at the intersection where:Customers are looking for relevant products, andSuppliers are wanting to create visibility for their productsThey Will Also Display a Strong Understanding Of
The search space and the needs of our customersWithin-category product placement, andAdjacent-category product placementThis role will not be responsible for supplier-facing work (pricing, sales) but will partner across the Woolworths business, Cartology sales team and our third-party vendor to identify and create opportunities for new inventory.What You'll Bring
Product and commercial acumen: outstanding stakeholder management, a clear framework for prioritisation, and the ability to clearly communicate the benefit of a feature and how it will deliver both customer value and business outcomesTechnical acumen: understanding of the product ecosystem - search platform, third-party vendor, customer experience - to appropriately assess the opportunities and identify the capabilities requiredCustomer-centricity: Search is central to the customer experience, and it is critical to understand the wants and needs of search customers to identify opportunities for sponsored searchAbility to partner with Search & Recommendations squad, data scientists, an external bid platform and technology supplier, and Cartology sales teams to continue the trajectory of this highly successful revenue lineOptimise existing placements, and identify opportunities for new placementsWhat You'll Experience
