THE CLIENT We are working with a dynamic global client that specialise in providing innovative solutions, particularly in the automotive field. They offer a range of automotive components and technical ceramics under a range of renowned household brands. THE ROLE You will oversee the Automotive Filtration Program and other designated products by expanding current product ranges and introducing new ones. Continuously review and suggest price adjustments to ensure market competitiveness by maintaining both internal and external customer e-catalogues. Provide technical support to various departments (including Marketing, Customer Service & Sales) as well as to customers for associated products. You will collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing team to execute their strategic initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain internal catalogue files and manage application listings within customer e-Catalogues for assigned product groups Identify and research new products for import into Australia and NZ through car parc gap analysis Monitor market pricing, develop strategies to grow market share and profitability and negotiate pricing with suppliers for new and existing products Maintain Item Master Data in the ERP system (SAP) and keep product dimensions, weights and image libraries up to date Prepare new product release bulletins and develop technical training materials - utilise these to conduct internal and external training sessions Provide technical assistance on products to internal & external stakeholders and proofread technical content for marketing materials Assist in calculating market share for assigned product groups and determine competitors' market share and annual sales volume Collaborate with the Marketing to develop or revise marketing strategies and work closely with the Sales & Marketing teams to execute their strategies Foster team spirit, promote quality improvement initiatives and develop quality assurance standards for relevant inspection, testing and recording procedures Perform other duties as directed by senior management ABOUT YOU You'll possess either a Mechanical Trade qualification and/or Aftermarket industry experience greater than 5 years A minimum of 2 of those years will be as a Product Manager in the Automotive aftermarket You'll have the ability to liaise effectively with multiple departments to execute appropriate strategies You pride yourself on your knowledge of chosen products and your ability to communicate features and benefits internally and externally You'll constantly be aware of the evolving market and keep up to date with market trends PERKS Work with a true industry leader with an amazing culture Build relationships with amazing clients with national and international recognition Attractive remuneration including a generous $18k car allowance Have a say in the expanding catalogue of products and have the opportunity to branch into other product categories Be provided with exceptional growth and development opportunities My client is looking to fill this role ASAP, so what are you waiting for?
