As a Product Manager (in Senior Manager level), you will be accountable to deliver a clear product strategy and roadmap, a market leading customer value proposition, a safe and compliant product in line with the product design and distribution obligations.You will continuously iterate and enhance the product features to create better outcomes and value for customer and stakeholders. You will move forward with less-than-perfect information, and quickly pivot to changing work demands, and possess the ability to accurately evaluate complex and ambiguous situations to reach timely, objective and informed decisions. You will influence others by communicating value with credibility and authority.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide advice and recommendations to Crew Lead & Product Owner on complex business issues, leveraging your experience and industry knowledge to guide decision-makingParticipate in the quarterly business planning cycles, working with the Product Owner to support the prioritisation of the backlog and set delivery expectations; this includes regularly reviewing the extended backlog and completing supporting analysis for these itemsIdentifying risk, dependencies and issues for the squad and product, in line with excellent management of operational risk and compliance outcomes, uplifting and implementing controls (and supporting processes) where requiredPresent and prepare product papers and reports to various governance forums, senior stakeholders and leadership teamsStaying abreast of external market trends (from regulatory, economics to innovation) and assigned RIS Issues/Incidents (actions to close and upcoming due dates), ensuring that these are flagged for solution scoping within the relevant squadsLead and execute multiple prioritised initiatives to achieve business outcomesUse a data driven and collaborative approach to identify and deliver initiatives that search for and then solve business problems across multiple productsIdentify, develop and drive product and process development opportunities that are customer centric, reduce risk and improve productivity throughout the portfolioApply your judgement and delivery experience to drive delivery in partnership with project and technical teamsApply Business Acumen, Leadership, Change Management and Project Management experience to determine optimal approach in project execution.We're interested in hearing from people who have:Previous product management experience within financial services, specifically in Home Lending and the end-end processesPrevious risk management experience - managing issues, incidents and customer remediationsA proven track record of coaching and developing peopleThe ability to take a customer centric approach to solving complex and ambiguous problemsThe ability to make quick decisions and remove blockers for the squadStrong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationshipsThe ability to proactively identify and drive delivery tasks associated with an in-flight changeStrong planning and time management skills with the ability to deal with competing priorities and upcoming due datesDemonstrated experience working in an Agile environment is preferredRisk Mindset: All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risksIf you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application.
