About the Role Join our high performing Dotti buying team as a Product Manager! This key position is responsible for understanding the Brand target market, designing and developing commercial product consistent with seasonal trends and direction in order to achieve revenue and gross profit targets. Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, this full-time role based at our Support Office on St Kilda Road, Melbourne will see you responsible for the overall performance of the buyership across Australia and New Zealand.
Responsibilities Build and execute the range from the ground up Manage the garment development process including appropriate selection of fabric, trims, blocks, colour and washes Develop buying plans which engage our customer Benchmark our competitors in order to continually inspect and optimise our product range Research trends, product innovation & competitors Negotiate with the supply base to deliver value for money, quality products that achieve product margin targets Liaise with our direct suppliers across a number of countries Manage the critical path and production plan Achieve budgeted sales and margin through continuous review of performance, market opportunities and product trends Constantly review performance and future range inspirations to proactively drive the brand's competitive edge Skills & Experience Proven buying and product development experience within womenswear Demonstrated experience in managing production and the critical path Experience of dealing with direct vendors across multiple geographies Ability to work using open costing models and forensic attention to detail Commercial acumen and negotiation skills Highly developed strategic planning capabilities & a solid critical path manager Proven leadership and team management skills Confident in understanding budgets and margin calculations Adaptable approach with the ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships Generous discount across all of our 7 brands, and access to sample sales across all brands Central office location based on St Kilda Road, with direct access to Fawkner Park Work closely within a high-performing and supportive team in a collaborative and fun environment Engage in continuous learning and development programs to enhance your skills and foster personal and professional growth Experience working for an international company with 7 iconic Australian brands Coffee lover?
