About the role: This is a newly created role for a consultative and collaborative Product Manager focused on defined benefits (DB) and regulatory change to partner with the broader business to improve member outcomes.
You will play a crucial role within the Product team and work closely with other teams to help interpret and respond to regulatory changes impacting the Fund's product suite.
Key responsibilities: Act as a subject matter expert for the Fund's DB products and serve as a representative in relevant projects and strategic planning in respect of defined benefit matters.
Regularly conduct market research to stay informed on trends, opportunities, and risks within the DB market.
Develop and drive effectiveness of the Product related regulatory change management framework; Monitor the external regulatory environment, including events, trends and emerging themes; Identify, assess and communicate the impact of regulatory change on the Fund's products Successfully collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to drive product success and customer satisfaction; Technical Skills & Qualifications: Proven track record in a product management role within the financial services industry is essential; Experience working with or exposure to DB is a must have (but would accept applications with historic experience if not more recent); Strong knowledge and understanding of superannuation products; An understanding of regulatory frameworks within superannuation; Tertiary qualifications in any relevant field; Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal; AND Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
