The Product Manager role is a pivotal and critical supplier facing role that will see you manage and develop key relationships with our key global principals and suppliers, leveraging your networks and experience to identify and develop strategic growth opportunities, whilst collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes.This role is the ultimate commercial opportunity within the chemical industry, ideal for someone looking to realise their professional potential; leveraging their sales acumen and potentially open exciting future managerial career opportunities in a great business and industry.With offices based in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, we are flexible to where this role is based, working with a collaborative team in a hybrid environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProfitability, safety and growth of the Commodity Trading (Building & Construction) portfolio to meet financial, commercial and operational targetsOwn the relationships with our Principals and key suppliers and provide product growth strategies and technical support to IXOM and our customersEnsure compliance of product, packaging, documentation and Suppliers/PrincipalsMarket research and analysis to identify market requirementsCultivate and sustain strong Principal and Supplier relationshipsActively prospecting for new technologies, products, suppliers and customersEstablish product and marketing development plansAnalysis and monitor competitor activityContribute to the development of financial budgetsDevelop and implement pricing strategies and monitor conformanceWho are we looking for?10+ years in a Product, Sales or marketing management role within chemical distribution or related industryTertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Science or Business highly preferredIn depth knowledge of B2B product management and marketingUnderstanding of international chemical markets and chemical distribution especially Building and ConstructionExperience in managing Principal relationships and reportingUnderstanding of supply chain management principlesResilient, self-motivated, systematic, and driven by profitable growthExcellent communication skills with ability to engage at executive level with multinational suppliers and customersBenefits at IXOMWe take looking after our people seriously.
