The Product Manager is responsible for managing the product stack within the Airport Experience & Operations domain.
Reporting to the Product Domain Lead, you will lead a team of Product Owners and Analysts who support the day-to-day features and improvements of the products as well as enhancements and changes to the product offering.
The role will also provide functional, technical, and domain thought leadership for their products across the Jetstar Group.
Your team will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and delivery of the product roadmap, whilst also driving continuous improvements and maintaining stable operations and compliance.
This team will maximise the business value of product development efforts by defining, designing, and prioritising the product strategy.
Role responsibilities: Ensure products meet stakeholder needs, business objectives, and compliance requirements.
Manage a team of Product Owners and Product Analysts Work with the Product Domain Lead to build and maintain the vision, strategy, and long-term roadmaps for the product stack, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs.
Engage with key stakeholders to gather insights, set priorities, and communicate product strategies and initiatives Collaborate with internal (e.g.
Airport Services, Operations Delivery, Technology, Digital, Customer) and external stakeholders to ensure product alignment with business needs.
Work with the Product Domain Lead, to manage vendors of systems, applications, and hardware related to the product domain.
Utilise stakeholder insights and feedback to drive product enhancements and innovation Work with Product and Delivery teams to deliver application and system changes, initiatives, and projects impacting the product domain.
Provide product guidance to all levels of support teams; Be an escalation contact for product issues impacting operations and compliance Support implementation and refinement of processes for product development, management, and delivery.
Support the Product Domain Lead in fostering a collaborative, high-performing and self-organising team culture.
You'll have: 3-5 years in a Product Owner role or similar with technology products.
Minimum 3 years' experience leading teams of Product Owners or similar.
Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure quality deliverables.
Knowledge and understanding of aviation & travel technologies, e.g.
Airport systems, Departure Control Systems, Self-Service Kiosk and Bag Drops, Baggage Sortation and Tracking Systems, Common Use Platforms (preferred) Strong stakeholder engagement skills across all levels, including senior management.
Certified Agile Product Owner (preferred).
Product Management or Product Owner qualification (preferred).
Flexible in navigating a fast-paced and dynamic industry Exceptional project leadership, risk management, and time management skills.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business practices.
Customer- centric mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to various audiences.
Experience working with geographically dispersed, multicultural teams.
