What you'd be doing in this role As an Infrastructure Product Lead, you will be at the forefront of driving Canva's Infrastructure to new heights, supporting our ambitious goal of reaching 1 billion users while enhancing our enterprise offerings.
You will play a critical role in shaping the future of our platform's infrastructure, ensuring that it is robust, scalable, developer friendly and cost-effective.
You will coach and mentor a team of product managers to drive impact-oriented roadmaps, and scale product-oriented thinking across the entire group.
You're probably a match if: Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and growing product management teams.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.Strong technical background with a deep understanding of platforms, software development, and current technology trends.Strategic thinker with a track record of executing large-scale projects successfully.Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment is preferred.Proven experience in product leadership, particularly in technical platforms, cloud services, or other related areas.What you'll do (responsibilities) Partner with engineering leadership to refine the strategy and vision for Canva's cloud infrastructure.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, security, and finance, to align infrastructure development with company objectives.Manage and mentor a team of product managers, setting clear goals and ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed.Drive innovation in infrastructure technology to stay ahead of industry trends and user demands.Balance technical, business, and user needs, making decisions based on data and informed insights.Communicate progress, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.About the team The Infra Supergroup at Canva aims to make complex technology simple for Canvanauts by building foundational platforms that will propel Canva's growth.
The scope is broad: every week, thousands of developers interact with the tools, utilities, and platforms that Infra provides.
Infra plays a direct role in improving developer productivity across the entire software lifecycle.
We are looking for an experienced product leader to lead Product Management within Infrastructure, building and coaching a high-performance product management team, and partnering closely with engineering leadership to transform Infrastructure into a truly product-oriented group.
