We realise this is a tall order so we also would be interested in chatting with Product Development Technologists with a dairy background.As part of this role, you must be willing to travel to our Strathmerton site, where our various cheese products get sliced, wrapped, and packaged, ready for distribution, and our Bega Valley site, the original site of Bega Cheese!You will have the know-how to innovate, problem solve, and iterate rapidly to develop the required product solution. Key to success in this role is the ability to work cross-functionally to key deliver projects and initiatives in line with company goals.This is a unique opportunity for a technical expert to join our tight-knit and supportive team.ResponsibilitiesOptimise formulations from bench to pilot to factory scale.Coordinate testing and research to progress formula and process optimisation.Actively engage with experts to drive project success.Prepare clear and detailed documentation in trial reports.Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external customers.Manage the pilot plant configuration, maintenance, resource, inventory of required materials and sanitation activities.Record all related project costs incurred.Develop detailed trial plans for each project stage incorporating all critical processing parameters.About YouDegree qualified in Food Science/Technology or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years' experience in project/product management within the dairy industry.Extensive relevant analytical, strategic thinking skills, and commercial experience.Recipe development and high attention to detail.Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
