A Product Developer is essential in bringing a product from concept to market, ensuring it meets the highest standards and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities: Research & Development: Explore and develop new product lines by collecting and analyzing data on diesel vehicles in the Australian market.
Use resources like the internet, magazines, suppliers' catalogues, and online parts databases.Catalogue Management: Integrate gathered information into our in-house sales catalogue.Supplier Liaison: Work closely with suppliers to source or develop the necessary parts, coordinating with the purchasing department for order placement.Quality Analysis: Evaluate supplier samples to ensure they meet our quality standards by comparing them to genuine samples (e.g., gasket sets, pistons, rings, bearings).What We're Looking For: Engine Component Knowledge: Ideally, you have a good understanding of engine components, with a preference for diesel engines.Attention to Detail: Accuracy with numeracy and a high level of attention to detail are crucial.Independent Work Ethic: The ability to work unsupervised and maintain focus is essential.Computer Literacy: While knowledge of computer systems is beneficial, it's not essential.Training: We provide full training to ensure your success in this role.
