We are excited to offer the role of Product Development Manager on a 12 month fixed-term contract.Contribute to the on-time development of clinically effective, innovative and commercially successful products by working closely with manufacturing, technical formulation, regulatory, marketing, innovation and Group Operations teams.This is an ideal role for a practitioner with product development experience to provide technical expertise in the development and formulation of new and existing products. Identify and assess new scientific developments and ingredient trends in partnership with other Group teams.Responsibilities include:Develop new and upgraded products and services which are clinically effective, innovative and commercially successful for Growth Pillars identified as part of this role.Work collaboratively with colleagues in cross functional PD teams regarding research, techniques, sources, evidence suitability.Critically appraise evidence for potential ingredients/products and prepare research analysis reports.Conduct literature reviews and report recommendations for potential formulas.Be at the forefront of the latest ingredients and technology trends in the dietary supplement industry.Foster relationships with key local and international suppliers and manufacturers.Work within the framework of Stage Gate process and IBP.Who are you?Experience in the field of medical sciences/nutrition or pharmaceutical formulation or manufacturing or stability and analytical testing.Ability to critically appraise clinical trials.Qualification in relevant technical discipline (e.g. Naturopath, Nutritionist, TCM Practitioner).Fast moving, solution driven with a good track record of successful execution and sound and compliant technical solutions.Sound strategic thinking and analysis and commercial understanding.Ability to develop strong internal partnerships with international teams and a strong communicator.Graduate degree in science/health related discipline.Blackmores Group is an ASX 200 publicly-listed company, with an extensive presence across Asia Pacific.
