Due to their continued growth, our client is seeking experienced Product Developers who are passionate about product and thrive on meeting customer needs, maintaining high standards, and remaining competitive in the market.
Your responsibilities will include: Working closely with the design and technical teams to develop seasonal collections from design concept through to prototypes.Researching new fashion trends, ideas, and concepts.Creating and maintaining accurate tech packs, including technical sketches and Bill of Materials.Working with the design team to source fabrics and trims that align with design, sustainability, and pricing goals.Overseeing sampling, maintaining trackers, and communicating delivery timelines.Ensuring that the products are produced efficiently, meet quality standards, and align with the designer's vision, brand's aesthetic, and market positioning.Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to meet quality expectations.Collaborating with garment technicians to ensure exceptional fit, quality, and finish.Adhering to Critical Path deadlines to ensure timely product launches.Managing workload to meet development and launch schedules under the Head of Design's guidance.Negotiating with suppliers to meet target margins and resolve costing issues.Proactively addressing quality issues and risks.About You An extensive product development background within apparel.Solid knowledge of garment construction techniques.Expertise in using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software.Strong communication skills with proven ability to build collaborative relationships.Experience creating detailed spec sheets or tech packs for consistent production.Ability to conduct and interpret market and trend analysis to inform product decisions.Skilled in sourcing suppliers and maintaining quality control standards. Competent in negotiating favorable terms and resolving supply issues efficiently while maintaining quality standards.Proven capability working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.High attention to detail.Are you interested in hearing more?
