Ramm Botanicals is a medium-sized, family-owned business located at Kangy Angy on the Central Coast. We are an integrated tissue culture laboratory and nursery production facility that produces plants for both domestic and international markets.
We have the opportunity for a qualified horticulturist to join our Nursery Product Development Team under the direction of the Product Development and Nursery Managers. This role includes R&D for nursery propagation of new crops, conducting nursery trials to determine optimum growing conditions for new and existing crops, formulating protocols and practices for commercial scale production, and preparing product development mother stock material for initiations. Trials would involve determining the optimum environmental, soil conditions, propagation and other practices to improve plant survival, growth and quality from cuttings or tissue culture derived material as part of the RAMM PD Nursery and Lab Team.

This is a permanent position of 38 hours per week Monday to Friday, with additional hours periodically rostered for weekends. The successful applicant will be subject to a five-month probationary period. Own transport is essential as our site is not accessible by public transport.
