WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW Our Product Development Director implements product strategy and ensure marketing implementation activities for a specific product, product line, or product area are completed on time, within budget, and meet goals and objectives. Direct and provide consultation to coordinate product strategy plans and activities organization-wide to promote alignment across all functions, partners, and areas. Monitor operational execution post implementation ensuring availability of product and alignment to strategic business case. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD Oversee the implementation of product strategy for a designated portfolio of products/services and ensure effective business strategies and goals are met. Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously.2.Manage multiple implementation project simultaneously to define project plan alignments, ensure implementation milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budget.
Determine critical product implementation requirements such as resource requirements, testing requirements, and operational trial definition and selection.
Provide cross-functional support and coordinate implementation actions organization-wide to ensure effective decision-making.
Translate product strategy requirements to technical/operational design and develop requirements through full product lifecycle.
Oversee coordination of strategy implementation activities across departments to achieve product marketing and organizational objectives.
Apply strategy to operationalize each product in collaboration with multiple functions and other partners, with focus on process and program innovation. Help drive licensure working with quality and regulatory counterparts.
Develop and implement plans to execute strategy to optimize the position, performance, and economics, and distribution policy of a product/service area.
Monitor operational execution post-implementation and manage sustainability of the overall strategy for a product area or line of service.
Coordinate action plans to mitigate risks, ensure achievement of objectives and improve cross-functional performance in Key Performance Indicators which may include financial, operational, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics. Advise on how to balance competing priorities, investments, and resources.
100% Remote- Candidates can live anywhere in the US (preferred Eastern Time working hours) The salary range for this position is : $ 115,000 -$145,000 Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded. Scope: Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in specific area. Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects; adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Management Experience: N/A
Skills & Abilities: Ability to coordinate and manage simultaneous data analysis requests of varying size and scope. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment. Strong public speaking skills in front of large groups. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent program management skills with ability to successfully interact and collaborate with colleagues and lead cross-functional teams. Ability to translate technical details into benefits for the user/buyer. Ability to follow and analyze market trends to position products. Ability to work on a team.

Travel 15-25 %.Involves travel to participate in meetings and conferences throughout Red Cross system.
WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE Training experience (clinical or healthcare)
High proficiency in Microsoft Office software
Excellent public-speaking/presentation skills
Proven success in Project Management
An ASCP certification in a clinical laboratory discipline (desired).

The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
