We are seeking Produce Quality Supervisors to join our operations within the Emerald region.
Award wages $34 to $37 an hour depending on experience 38 hour week minimum We are seeking multiple produce quality supervisors to join our packshed operations teams at our Selma Road packing operations on a Full-Time basis.
Reporting into packing shed operations, these supervisors will be required to reinforce quality standards and procedures throughout our farming and packing harvest operations.
About the Role Ensure that quality control and checking procedures are reinforced with the quality team, packshed staff and harvest teams.
Ensure that policies regarding produce handling and food safety are reinforced, including hygiene, grading and packing.
Support the floor supervisors with grading activities, including sharing labour between quality and grading.
Ensure quality standards are reinforced in the field during harvest, working with harvest management and supervision to do so.
Ensure that training and induction records are well-maintained, including protocols around retraining.
Reinforce the site safety culture within the workforce.
Conduct pest and disease work in field out of season.
About You Experience in a role focused on determining citrus quality and grading.
Experience in supervising workers.
Experience in a packshed environment is desirable.
Experience in identifying pest and disease in citrus is desirable.
Ability to teach and coach international workers.
Understanding of safe working practices as it relates to farm operations.
