Division: Boral Resources QLD P/L Department: CONCRETE QLD Work type: Permanent - full time Location: Brisbane We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time opportunity for a responsible and driven individual to join our team as a Concrete Laboratory Technician based in our Eaglefarm Plant. Working independently, this role reports to the Laboratory Manager - Concrete and involves undertaking tasks in relation to sampling, testing, training, supervising, maintenance of records, and reporting of results for our concrete and quarry related products. Your day will involve: Conduct sampling of concrete samples on site. Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions, and manuals. Calibrate laboratory equipment as required. Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations. Other duties as directed by Laboratory Management. What are we looking for? Experience as a concrete field tester, desired but not essential. Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data (especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc). An ability to cope with competing priorities and deadlines. Knowledge or experience in Aggregates testing is an advantage. What's on offer? Access to a fully funded Cert IV Laboratory Techniques.
