Procurement Support Officer

AO3 Procurement Support Officer ASAP Start - 3 months + possible extension $46.27 + super per hour Queensland State Government Cannon Hill Provide support to the Procurement team in this large QLD State Government Department.
Your duties will include:
Create Purchase Orders Review and enter information into the internal database Issue works/services tenders Provide a range of administrative support functions to members of the Procurement section as required Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of legislative and departmental requirements for procurement and actively promote awareness of procurement as a key business function to all departmental staff. You will be able to demonstrate the following:
Prior experience in an administrative/support role Prior experience in procurement/purchasing is highly desirable High attention to detail Demonstrate initiative and be a team player by appropriately handling enquiries to senior staff in their absence within expected timeframes Excellent communication skills Basic to intermediate MS Office Suite skills Apply
