Provide support to the Procurement team, in this large QLD State Government Department!
Your duties will include:
Create Purchase OrdersReview and enter information into the internal databaseIssue works/services tendersProvide a range of administrative support functions to members of the Procurement section as requiredMaintain an up-to-date knowledge of legislative and departmental requirements for procurement, and actively promote awareness of procurement as a key business function to all departmental staffYou

You will be able to demonstrate the following:
Prior experience in an administrative/support rolePrior experience in procurement/ purchasing is highly desirableHigh attention to detailDemonstrate initiative and be a team player by appropriately handling enquiries to senior staff in their absence within expected timeframes.Excellent communication skillsBasic to intermediate MS Office Suite skills Apply
