Randstad is currently recruiting for a procurement specialist to join a rapidly growing not-for-profit organisation with statewide operations. This newly created role will help drive commercial outcomes by managing end-to-end procurement processes for a variety of goods and services, including facilities management services, fleet vehicles, consumables, and construction services. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work from any of their four corporate offices and will enjoy work-from-home flexibility. You will be supported by a commercially driven and warm manager, and this role will work closely with the organisation's Chief Financial Officer.About the roleIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:Manage end-to-end procurement process for a variety of goods and servicesWork closely with internal stakeholders, and manage supplier performance through ongoing contract managementSupport ongoing and upcoming projects - including the construction of a new facilityDrive organisational improvement by refining and advising on procurement policies and processesReport on procurement outcomes to senior managementAbout youTo be successful in this role, you will:Have experience in a procurement officer, specialist, coordinator, or similar position, particularly in service industries like NFP, aged care, government, healthcare, or similarBe able to successfully manage competing prioritiesHave strong communication and stakeholder management skillsBe comfortable working in an autonomous roleBe fully vaccinated for Covid, have this year's flu vaccinationThere will be occasional local travel to their different sites, so the successful candidate will need to have a car and a valid driver's licence.
