This role forms part of the Procurement Services Directorate whichis responsible for providing end-to-end procurement services,including strategic oversight and direction, to enable thesuccessful delivery of the Department's transportinfrastructure projects.
The Opportunity
The Procurement Officer will manage the end-to-end constructionprocurement process for medium risk contracts in line withDepartment and State Government procurement policies andprocedures, support strategies that aim to deliver value for moneyand collaboratively engage with stakeholders to deliver procurementoutcomes and advise on construction procurement matters.
This role requires to operate with independence and thedetermination of priorities, work standards.
Special Conditions
The successful candidate will be required to provide a NationalPolice Check (NPC) prior to employment with the Department forInfrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every threeyears.
Some out of hours and weekend work, along with someintra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may berequired.
Remuneration
ASO5 - $84,522 to $94,003 per annum
