Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time Established in 2007, Carbon Revolution designs and manufactures carbon fibre wheels at scale for some of the most prestigious car companies in the world.
With over 90,000 Carbon Revolution wheels on the road, Carbon Revolution is the recognised leader in the sector.
Based in Geelong, Australia, we have over 600 dedicated and valued employees, allowing us to grow and produce some of the most technically advanced and highest performing wheels on the planet.
We are currently looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying external material needs of the organisation, finding suppliers who can supply these goods and/or services, negotiating for prices, and arranging for the purchase and delivery of the goods and services (could be both direct and indirect goods and services).
What you'll do Responsible for delivering value to the organisation through strategic procurement activities.Realisation of stakeholder management to maximize total cost of ownership savings and Procurement's value contribution.Supplier relationship management and contract management activities.Assure compliance targets with policies, strategies, and processes.Deliver committed annual Procurement savings targets.Ownership of strategic sourcing for goods & services (could include both direct & indirect categories) and delivery of the goods and services (could be both direct and indirect goods and services).Strong engagement & collaboration with key internal stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans with a global mindset.What you'll bring Minimum 5 years manufacturing industry experience in a relevant Procurement/Buyer role is required (Invitation to Supply methods).Knowledge of MS Office including a high standard of MS Excel capability.MRP & ERP software experience essential (NetSuite experience is desirable).Strong analytical skills to understand spend analysis and to anticipate market and price trends.Working knowledge of composites materials would be highly regarded.Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced organisation.Ability to do the occasional out-of-hours calls with suppliers outside Australia.What's on offer At Carbon Revolution, we believe in fair, market competitive and performance-based pay.
