Main Responsibilities Category management of E2E Supply Chain for the South Pacific hub, supporting both Colgate-Palmolive and Hill's Pet Nutrition.Application and creation of comprehensive procurement strategies aimed at maximising value and reducing costs.Cultivate strong business partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational goals, efficiencies, and enhance workplace culture.Develop and implement data-driven strategies to ensure the continuous supply of goods and services for assigned projects, categories, and suppliers.Lead market engagements from identification of opportunities, baselining, RFx processes, negotiations, to approvals and contract execution.Offer operational, analytical, and commercial support for all procurement activities, supplier relationships, escalations, and inquiries.Support strategic initiatives including global priorities, stakeholder engagement, digital transformation, and process improvement projects.Focus on providing solutions, recommendations, highlighting risks, and suggesting approaches for business considerations.Contribute to local Funding the Growth (FTG) programs.Serve as a category lead role model for the SoPac Team.Partner closely with the Engineering Manager to facilitate capital expenditure sourcing.Apply a continuous improvement mindset, to facilitate process and category efficiencies.Ensure all vendors adhere to Colgate-Palmolive procurement policies.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related fields.7-10 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years experience in supply chain and manufacturing sectors.Highly adept at learning and navigating various IT systems and software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.Extensive experience managing the RFx process end-to-end, with strong project management skills.Strong customer focus, with proven capabilities in influencing, communicating, and negotiating.Proactive self-starter who is highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results under tight deadlines.Ability to go beyond cost savings to build strong and sustainable supplier relationship management (SRM) with key suppliers.Preferred Requirements: FMCG experienceSAP experiencePlease note: You will have to be based in Villawood office for 2 days and one day in Sydney Office.
