The Procurement Excellence Manager is a newly created role reporting directly into the Head of Procurement. The role will be responsible for spearheading the S2P process across multiple functional areas, geographies and business unit. The role will also play a crucial role in optimising their procurement processes and ensuring best-in-class procurement practices.
Responsibilities:Establishing a best in class end-to-end source to pay strategyWork with senior managers across the business on embedding the source to pay strategy into the business, including updating on progress and identifying any risksLeading and developing one direct reportUndertake a review of existing contracts, suppliers and procurement policies to establish and implement a more robust and sustainable procurement framework for the businessCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand pain points, and embed the newly established procurement process across the businessStrategic sourcing across key categories for the business ensuring cost savings, cost avoidance and security of supplyDevelop strong relationships with local and new suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and alternate sources of supply are identifiedMonitor industry trends and market developments to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.Ensure procurement strategy is aligned with wider business strategy and initiativesIdentify and proactively manage any procurement risk to the business including developing risk mitigation plans
Essential Skills:Expertise (5+years ) leading source to pay processes gainedwithin large entreprisesEssential to the role is strong experience with Ariba, Coupa and ZycusStrong stakeholder management experience including experience working closely and influencing ELT level stakeholdersExperience in procurement of software / ICT categoriesExcellent analysis skillsetIdeally experience gained in consulting environmentsEducation: tertiary qualified, and/or MBA
