24th September, 2024 My client who is based in the Northern suburbs of Perth are specialists in supplying and installing metal roofing solutions to WA Builders in both residential and commercial sectors. Working predominately in the Perth metro area but now currently expanding into the regional and mining sectors, they are looking to appoint an experienced Procurement & Estimating / Scheduling Manager to help take their business to the next level!
This role will see you responsible for:

This role will see you responsible for:
Overseeing the development and implementation of scheduling systemsManaging procurementGuiding the estimating team to deliver accurate project cost estimatesWork closely with various departmentsNegotiate vendor contractsResolve any scheduling issuesSupport project planning and executionTo be successful in this role you will ideally come from the Building & Construction industry in your prior employment, be a natural leader with a flare for exceptional communication with both internal staff, suppliers and customers.
Other skills and abilities required:
Proven experience in procurement, estimating and scheduling (ideally within the commercial sector preferably)Project Management and / or Estimation certifications (highly desirable although not essential)Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of industry regulations and compliance standardsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritise workloadsComputer literate, proficient in scheduling softwareThis company prides themselves on the way they look after their staff! The base salary is negotiable depending on your skills and abilities (circa $130k + super) and provides some flexibility in working arrangements.
